Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American actress and model who is also a TV hostess and comedian. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new queen of Drama" by a variety of media publications. The kidneys of her did not heal when she contracted an infection that was septic and she suffered multiple organ malfunctions. It was then a regimen of hemodialysis, followed by peritoneal dilution. After an eighteen-day stay in the hospital at a point when she was in danger of dying to her long journey back to healthy. The way she lived her life was forever altered. After nearly a year and half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. The mother of Angelica was the organ donor. Angelica, along with her mom, underwent a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were close to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress as well as a performer and is currently working towards this dream.
